Blake Griffin had a season-high 45-points Monday night (Dec. 8) as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns in overtime.
But even that wasn’t as impressive as his game-winning 3-point buzzer-beater.
With no timeouts left and down by 2, Griffin received the ball with two seconds left. He took a step back, fired the trigger, and 19,000 people erupted in cheers after a moment of suspense as the ball barely bounced into the basket.
Griffin has been working on his jumper, and it is showing. As of now, the Clippers are 15-5 and top contenders to win the NBA Finals.
