Adrian Robinson Found Dead at the Age of 25
Former NFL linebacker Adrian Robinson died late Saturday night. Robinson had recently agreed to play for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Robinson was a year removed from professional football, last playing in 2013 when he appeared in six games for the Denver Broncos and two for the San Diego Chargers. In 2012 he appeared in 12 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team that had signed him as an undrafted free agent. The Steelers would go on to trade Robinson to the Eagles for Felix Jones, who would release him a week later. Robinson was a two-star linebackaer out of Harrisburg, Pennsylavania, and attended Temple Univeristy. In his collegiate career, under former Temple University coach Al Golden, he was a highly productive player especially in his sophomore year when he was named MAC defensive player of the year.
