If you weren’t on the edge of your seat for the entirety of last night’s game, hopefully Katy Perry‘s halftime performance brought you to your feet.

Perry gave us one of the best halftimes shows we’ve seen in years, complete with fireworks, a giant jungle beast, guest performances, magical glowing balls, dancing sharks, and what looked like freestyle wizard’s chess. Her medley took us through “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” “I Kissed A Girl” featuring Cinna, “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control” all with Missy Elliott, and a smashing finale of “Firework.”

So what did audience members, viewers at home, and fans in general think of the show? Check out these awesome social media posts from the game.

To commemorate the performance, which Katy Perry called the most important of her career, the 30-year-old treated herself to a way that will help her remember the night forever:

Guest artist Missy Elliott — who now has three songs on the Top 20 — shared her emotional responses on Twitter:

Before the show, there was some major speculation as to whether or not Katy would somehow insult enemy Taylor Swift during the performance. Now fans are reporting that she tastefully dissed TSwift through subtle gestures: hand movements and bathing suits.

The backup dancers, who are dressed like Goody Two-Shoes in 1950’s style bathing suits, sure bear a striking resemblance…

No belly buttons to be seen!

But all of that pales in comparison to the most important part of the halftime show (and the night…): the dancing sharks. Especially in the case of #leftshark, the only thing these cute, plush fish killed was their dance moves as they skyrocketed to absolute (albeit anonymous) fame. Halloween costume 2015 here I come…

It didn’t take long for the world to unmask one of the sharks. As you can see in his tweet, the dancer is very proud of the whole show (as well he should be).

As for the other shark, we can only wonder…

Here’s a GIF that should make your Monday so much brighter:
