It’s no surprise that football is one of the most lucrative sports in history. In 2015, the National Football League reportedly raked in $11 billion in revenue. Sunday’s are now religiously spent at stadiums and bars with the nation rooting for their home team. With the popularity of the NFL and football never having been higher, it’s not a bad time to be an owner of an NFL franchise.
Every club in the league currently has a value of over $1 billion and that number is constantly rising. Factors such as location, popularity of the team, and how well or how poorly that team has performed in recent years all affect how much that club is worth. We’ve compiled a list, from least to greatest of how much each NFL team is worth in 2016.
