NASCAR Driver Travis Kvapil Forced to Withdraw from Race after Car Stolen

Don’t bother looking for the 44 car on Sunday (Mar. 1)– it was stolen.

NASCAR driver Travis Kvapil was forced to withdraw from the race this coming Sunday in Atlanta after the black Ford pickup towing the white trailer carrying his Sprint Cup car was stolen overnight outside the team’s hotel in Morrow, GA.

The team does not have a backup car for this Sunday’s race, leaving Kvapil no other option but to tweet for help.

At the same time of the theft, a silver or gray Jeep Cherokee was spotted leaving the hotel.

Kvapil will hopefully have enough time to replace his car and be at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway next weekend.

The Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500 takes place Sunday, March 1 at 1PM EST at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
