Raymond Felton, is in police custody after being charged with second and third degree criminal possession of a firearm, which are felonies and fourth-degree possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor. Police also said that Felton was in possession of a gun that he wasn’t registered to have.
New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton remained in police custody Tuesday after his wife said he had threatened her with a firearm, according to multiple reports.
After turning himself in at 12:50am ET on Tuesday (Feb. 25), Felton was questioned at the 20th Precinct in Manhattan’s Upper West Side and is expected to appear in criminal court on Tuesday afternoon.
According to multiple report, his wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, said that Felton had threatened her with a firearm.
Page Six reported that Raymondo-Felton recently filed for divorce after less than 19 months of marriage.
A Knicks spokesman said the team had no immediate comment on Felton’s arrest.
