Pablo Sandoval Criticized Over Weight Gain In Offseason

Pablo Sandoval, also enormously known as Panda, showed up to the spring training facility looking a little…bigger?

The new third baseman for the Boston Red Sox was a cause for concern during his playing days with the San Francisco Giants, but now his weight issues are the Red Sox’s problem.

After just signing a five-year contract close to $100 million back in November, Panda had all offseason to get in shape. However, it doesn’t look like he has quite come out of hibernation.

Sandoval has been able to shed pounds in the past, so hopefully the organization will make this weight gain a priority, and get Panda on the right track. And by track- one that you run laps around.

Sandoval broke an MLB record by getting 26 hits in a single postseason (2014).
