Seattle Seahawks’ Mascot Says ‘Hello’ To Fans During Sunday’s Game

During kickoff of the NFL Sunday night game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Giants, the Seahawks’ mascot watched on after it landed on a Seahawks fan at CenturyLink Field– the mascot is a real live hawk.

At every home game, the Seahawks are led out of the locker room and onto the field by their mascot.

While flying around the stadium, the hawk decided to take a detour and perch in the stands with the fans for a better view of the game, rather than flying back to its’ trainer.

Fans were startled at first, but quickly warmed up to the bird’s presence. One fan in particular even summoned up the courage to to pet the fierce mascot…after it had already landed on his head.

Although the bird was quite entertaining, Seahawk Marshawn Lynch is the one who put on a show. The running back lead his team to a 38-17 victory with 140 yards and 4 touchdowns. An amazing performance for those who have him on their fantasy team.
