The Detroit Tigers have agreed to acquire Yoenis Cespedes from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for pitcher Rick Porcello.
Cespedes, hit .260 with 100 RBIs, along with 22 home runs last season.
The 29-year-old slugger has a .263 career batting average with 71 homers, tacking on 262 RBIs in his three major league seasons.
Porcello is coming off his best season yet, going 15-13 with a 3.43 and 129 strikeouts in 204.2 innings.
Not only is Cespedes going to be a great addition to the Tigers, accompanied by Miguel Cabrera, he has a laser for an arm.
